Kloovenburg is home to the du Toit family where winemaker Pieter and his charming wife Annalene (yes, the parents of famed Springbok Rugby player Pieter-Steph du Toit!) are hard at work producing delicious wines and olive oils.

In 1998, Pieter made 10 tons of Shiraz and 10 tons of Pinotage at another facility. This was the first wine to be released under the Kloovenburg label. In 2000, Pieter built the cellar and made his own wine. The cellar has a capacity of 200 tons.

Visitors to the farm can experience first-hand the magical atmosphere of Kloovenburg Wine & Olive Estate. Set in the old wine cellar, the tasting room is as beautiful as the olives and wines are delicious. Taste your way through their award-winning wines and cured olives.
